We are looking for a vibrant, confident person to join the team to help deliver a high quality service in the Cardio-Respiratory Department based at Colchester Hospital.
This role will be a job share, working days will be Monday 8-30
-16.30 and Tuesday 8.30
-17.00.
This is a fixed term position until 31.3.26.
Main duties of the jobProvide an efficient administrative and day-to-day support service to the department and coordinating all pacing clinics within department and outside areas i.e. Clacton & District and Harwich & District. Including the booking of appointments, typing of correspondence, documents, dealing with different enquiries, dealing with patients' records and other general office administration duties.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential- GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
- NVQ level 3 in administration/secretarial or equivalent experience
- Previous administrative role
- Experience of database systems
- Working collaboratively as part of a team
- Advanced IT Systems including Microsoft Office
- Experience of communicating with a range of people both within and external to the organisation
- NHS experience
- Experience in working with Patient Administration Systems, incl. Pas, Lotus
- Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Customer service
- Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- NHS Knowledge of relevant work area
- Specialised functional and medical terms acquired through qualification or extensive experience
