Pay: £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)
About the ServiceInternational House is a 12-bed Supported Living service supporting adult female and males with complex mental health needs and autism. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals. People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including cafes, shopping, arts & crafts and community outings, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
Aboutthe Role
As a Support Worker, you'll support adults with complex mental health conditions in a residential service with multidisciplinary team input and support. The service will provide intensive short-term support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours including personal care.
You'll- Support individuals to manage their mental health and wellbeing
- Encourage independence and help people achieve personal goals

- Support daily routines, appointments, and community activities
- Provide practical and emotional support in a person-centred way
- Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

- Entry Level – £12.71 per hour
- NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour
- NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour
- A calm, caring and resilient approach
- Passion for supporting people with mental health needs
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries
- Willingness to learn and develop
- NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care or Mental Health
- Experience in a mental health or support setting
- Basic IT skills
