Job overviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic organised Personal Assistant to work within a small administration team. You will provide support and information packs for lung cancer pathway, deal with appointment queries, booking and cancellations. You will be responsible for cleansing and sending appointment letters, emails and EPIC inbasket management for 8 consultants, 2 Registrars, 5 Nurses and 1 Physiotherapist
This is a part time role on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2027

Main duties of the jobGeneral office administration, including emails, telephone calls and voicemails, inbaskets/pools andpost.
Supporting respiratory consultants, physiotherapists, clinical nurse specialists and other clinical teams with day-to-day administrative and secretarial duties.
Managing correspondence, including cleaning clinic letters, referrals, and other clinical documentation (EBSUS/Bronchoscopy leaflets). Correspondences referring to 2WW Lung cancer patients must be actioned in a timely manner to meet Cancer FDS standard.
Arranging and managing outpatient appointments, including booking new patient and follow-up respiratory clinics for Lung cancer target clinics and clinical nurse specialist clinics, monitoring clinic ultisation. Most booking is completed centrally by the contact center.
Communicating with patients and relatives, responding to queries professionally and directing clinical questions to the appropriate clinician.
