Clinical Coder

Job summary

Creffield Medical Centre in Colchester is looking to welcome a motivated clinical coder to their team, on a part-time basis, for approximately 30-35 hours per week, working across a minimum of 4 days.

Main duties of the job Review all incoming correspondence filing the document and entering pertinent information

Carry out required actions via the patients electronical medical record in accordance with the coding workflow protocol - with attention to QOF and ECFHighlight clinician action and workflow to appropriate clinician or team as per workflow protocol

Organise the medical record of the patient whom you are coding, to link problem titles.

Recognise own knowledge limits and seek advice from clinical or administrative colleagues as appropriate

Carry out administrative related tasks as delegated by clinical lead and practice manager.

Undertake any other reasonable tasks as allocated by the practice manager or partners.

About us Creffield Medical Group was formed in June 2017, it is an amalgamation of Creffield Medical Centre, Layer Road Surgery, Turner Road Surgery and North Hill Medical Group and we have 30,000 patients.

Colchester is a historic, vibrant town with quick road and rail links to London Liverpool Street.
