From digitising processes and implementing a new people platform to developing policies and supporting wider business projects, there's plenty here to make your mark.

What's in it for you

  • The chance to lead the rollout of a new people platform and move documentation and processes into a more efficient digital environment
  • Regular involvement with senior leaders on projects including employee surveys, workplace wellbeing and salary benchmarking
  • An opportunity to help shape an inclusive workplace culture as the business continues to grow
Your responsibilities as HR Manager
  • Provide day-to-day professional people advice, guiding managers through employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence and performance
  • Support recruitment, selection and onboarding while ensuring processes reflect business requirements, company values and right-to-work obligations
  • Maintain accurate employee records, visa information and compliance documentation across Sage People and associated files
  • Work alongside an external consultant to maintain contracts, policies and the staff handbook in line with UK employment legislation and best practice
  • Lead the rollout of a new people platform, digitising documentation and developing more effective internal processes
  • Support senior leaders with development initiatives and wider projects covering engagement, wellbeing, benchmarking, job descriptions and recruitment

  • Demonstrable employee relations expertise and experience supporting managers through complex workplace matters and organisational change
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice and Right to Work compliance
  • Previous exposure to an FMCG, manufacturing or production environment involving shift-based work is highly desirable
  • Strong written communication and report-writing skills, with experience handling sensitive matters and maintaining accurate employee records
