IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Project Manager for a permanent position to lead the successful delivery of enterprise Oracle initiatives. This role requires deep experience across Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), with strong oversight of ERP and SCM modules. The ideal candidate will bring a disciplined approach to project governance, delivery assurance, and risk management, ensuring projects align with organizational standards, controls, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities- Lead full lifecycle delivery of Oracle projects, including Fusion Cloud and EBS implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and transformations
- Manage delivery across ERP and SCM modules, including Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Planning
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations
- Provide clear leadership to cross-functional teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors
- Establish and enforce robust project governance frameworks, including stage gates, steering committees, and approval processes
- Ensure adherence to enterprise project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and organizational standards
- Develop and maintain governance artifacts such as business cases, charters, RAID logs, dependency trackers, and benefits realisation plans
- Prepare and present high-quality executive-level status reports, dashboards, and decision papers
- Manage financial governance, including budget tracking, forecasts, change control, and cost approvals
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and Oracle solutions
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating appropriately through governance forums
- Manage scope and change control using formal approval processes
- Drive strong decision-making and accountability across stakeholders
- Ensure solution quality through structured testing governance, including SIT, UAT, and production readiness reviews
- Oversee data migration, integrations, security, and compliance activities
- Ensure projects meet internal audit, security, and regulatory requirements
- Support post-go-live stabilization, benefits realization tracking, and transition to support team
The list of key responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required. Travel should be expected as part of this role.
Experience Required- 8+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise Oracle solutions
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
- Strong functional understanding of ERP and SCM modules
- Demonstrated experience implementing project governance frameworks in complex enterprise environments
- Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and senior stakeholder groups
- PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP certification
- Agile or SAFe certification
- Oracle certifications (Fusion Financials, SCM, or EBS)
- Experience working within PMOs or enterprise delivery organisations
- Experience with global or multi-entity Oracle implementations
- Enterprise project governance & controls
