Trainee Claims Advisor

As part of our service offering, our Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI) team manages customer claims with care, clarity and a focus on fair outcomes. We're looking for a Trainee Claims Advisor to join our team based out of our Colchester office on a hybrid basis.

You'll be responsible for assessing and progressing legal insurance claims while supporting customers throughout the process. This includes:

• Reviewing and assessing new claims and gathering key information
• Interpreting policy wording and evaluating whether claims are covered
• Handling customer enquiries by phone and email with clarity and empathy
• Investigating details and applying fair judgement in line with guidance
• Managing your own caseload and maintaining accurate records
• Working across multiple systems to ensure an efficient claims journey

We welcome applications from recent graduates, junior applicants, or individuals with experience in customer service, admin or operations. You'll need strong communication skills, good analytical ability and resilience. The ideal candidate is curious, detail focused, confident with IT systems and proactive in their approach.
