Corporate Paralegal

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our growing legal team in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a genuine interest in corporate law to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will work closely with senior solicitors and partners, assisting on a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, company reorganisations, shareholder agreements, and general company law advisory work.

• Assisting with corporate transactions including M&A, share sales, and asset purchases
• Drafting and reviewing corporate documentation (board minutes, resolutions, shareholder agreements, articles of association)
• Conducting due diligence and preparing due diligence reports
• Managing Companies House filings and maintaining statutory registers
• Supporting with disclosure processes and transaction bibles
• Liaising with clients, accountants, and external advisors
• Legal research and preparation of briefing notes
• General administrative support to the corporate team

• Previous experience in a corporate/commercial legal environment (law firm or in-house)
• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of company law and corporate procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
