Supply Chain Coordinator

CSS is recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a client based in Colchester, Essex on a temporary to permanent basis.

Hours:

7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, four days on, four days off, including weekends.

We are looking for candidates with experience in the fast‑paced, smooth execution of outbound supply‑chain activities, such as coordinating deliveries, liaising with transport and haulage, and other roles to ensure compliance.

• Coordinating outbound deliveries daily to customers
• Managing and hiring/dehauling supply‑chain equipment
• Working with suppliers to minimise losses and control costs
• Acting as key interface between logistical teams
• Liaising with other teams to identify improvement opportunities
• Following all H&S procedures

Starting date: immediate, with a transition to permanent after 12 weeks.

• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service roles
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple duties
• Own transport preferred due to location and shift times; public transport not available
• Experience in FMCG, fresh produce, and food manufacturing desirable
• Familiarity with outbound logistics and transport coordination
