Buyer - Brazilian Speaking

Advancing People - Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are   recruiting a Brazilian or Portuguese speaking Buyer for their client based in Colchester, Essex.
Our client are a global procurement specialist who supply OEM and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spare parts worldwide to a number of different industries.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Source and procure products and materials from Brazilian-speaking suppliers, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality and service.
Manage supplier documentation, contracts and purchasing records accurately.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across South American and beyond
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules to maximise value for the business.
Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Track supplier performance, resolving any issues relating to quality, delivery or availability.
Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve product range and reduce costs.

Person Specification:

Fluent in  Brazilian or Portuguese
Previous experience in a  Purchasing, Buying, Procurement  or  Supply Chain role.
Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and secure competitive pricing.
Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supply chain issues.
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable / Proven ability of forming and maintaining successful supplier relationships
This is a full time permanent position offering an annual basic salary of  £40,000 - £45,000  + attractive company benefits
