We’re looking for a Rapid Response Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at Colchester Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health and wellbeing throughout the hospital. If you have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this is your chance to be part of something greater.

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas.
• Manage the operating standards are maintained and all documents and audits are completed in the correct timeframe.
• Undertake a range of housekeeping and cleaning tasks in the hospital, including the cleaning of infected areas and equipment, following a detail cleaning program to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard to reduce the risk of spreading infections.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors.

• Physical capability to carry out cleaning duties across various hospital areas.
• A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
• A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Professionalism, integrity, and a neat, presentable appearance.
