The Role - MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

This is a role where you’ll spend around 80% of your time MOT testing, with light servicing only when the workshop is quiet. As an experienced MOT Tester, you’ll carry out Class 4,5,7 MOTs, complete retests, identify faults and ensure all work meets DVSA standards. You’ll also support the wider team with basic servicing tasks when required.

  • Conducting MOT tests to DVSA regulations
  • Advising customers on repairs and safety issues
  • Completing accurate documentation and test certificates
  • Light servicing (pads, basic servicing) when quiet
  • Using modern diagnostic equipment in a newly upgraded workshop
What You Need
  • Valid MOT Tester licence Class 4,5 and Class 7 desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
