Electrical Maintenance technician - shift

STEM recruitment solutions have a superb opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for their highly acclaimed client based in the north Newcastle area. The position involves providing support to the manufacturing business covering a full range of maintenance to all of the sites equipment. You will perform a schedule of planned preventative maintenance in order to minimise downtime and be on hand to deal with breakdown in a quick and efficient manner so that production can resume very quickly.

The role requires someone who can complete electrical maintenance so you should have a relevant electrical qualification. The job itself will have a great deal of variety and include:
Emergency breakdown maintenance . Instrumentation repairs, modifications and upgrades Completing a schedule of planned preventive maintenance Working on engineering projects Logging all records and completing documentation Performing continuous improvement activities Operating to health and safety standards Complying with quality and industry standards Working on control systems, drives and PLCs The job involves working across several departments, building good working relationships with colleagues and also dealing with external contractors where required.
