Forklift Driver

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a skilled   Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative   to join a busy manufacturing environment in Colchester.
This role would suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a Food Production Sector.

Key Responsibilities
Duties will vary depending on operational requirements. Typical responsibilities include:
Picking and packing orders
Receiving and dispatching goods
Conducting inbound and outbound goods inspections
Packing incoming stock away and rotating stock, including pallet handling
Reviewing orders to ensure accuracy
Maintaining warehouse health & safety procedures at all times, including housekeeping and equipment maintenance
Maintaining space efficiency within the warehouse
Candidate Requirements
The successful applicant will possess:
A valid counterbalance forklift license
Relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations
The ability to work independently
A strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail
Basic computer literacy
The ability to learn quickly
Strong organisational skills
Good communication skills
