Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to take full ownership of a children s home and make a lasting impact?

We are currently recruiting for a strong, confident Registered Manager to lead our clients well-established children s residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you will have real autonomy, the ability to shape the culture of the home, and drive positive outcomes for young people.

Salary:
£45,000 £ 62,000 depending on experience

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the home. You ll lead a team of approximately 15 staff, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding are consistently delivered.

You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, and continuously improving the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full operational management of the children s home
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of care professionals
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders
  • Drive high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people
  • Oversee staff performance, recruitment, and development

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 3 years experience as a Registered Manager within a children s home
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership experience managing staff teams
