In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of facility operations across Colchester Institute. You will play a key role in maintaing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all staff memebers and learners. Security Manager Full Time

About this role:

Lead, manage and develop the College's security teams to ensure the safety and security of staff, students, visitors, and assets at all times. Ensure effective implementation and ongoing development of the College y, promoting full compliance among all stakeholders. Along with promoting and encouraging the colleges professional standards and expectations Plan, develop, and implement security measures and emergency preparedness plans to minimise risk and respond effectively to incidents.

Manage car park operations including equipment maintenance, payment processes, and monitoring compliance for staff and students. Provide specialist advice to management on security considerations relating to estates planning, car parking operations, and campus development. Work collaboratively with internal partners—including Student Services, Safeguarding Officers, curriculum teams, and senior leaders—particularly in relation to safeguarding, wellbeing, and the Prevent Duty. SIA accredited or similar industry standard Rcenet industry relevant training including:
