THE JOBThe Compliance Administrator Team Manager (known internally as a Compliance Manager) at Move With Us, part of Simplify, will lead and support a small Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance team based in our St Ives office.
Reporting into the Senior Operations and Compliance Manager, you’ll oversee the team’s day-to-day performance while remaining actively involved in audits, compliance reviews and ongoing monitoring. You’ll help ensure that the business operates in accordance with AML legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures, while identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and improve the way we work.
This is a varied role combining hands‑on compliance activity with people‑management responsibility. You’ll set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, support development and create a positive, accountable team culture. You’ll also work closely with our Probate and House builder Sales teams, providing practical compliance guidance and support.

- Leading, coaching and developing a small AML Compliance team, including setting objectives, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Monitoring team performance against agreed targets and standards, recognising strong performance and addressing concerns promptly
- Managing employee relations matters in line with company policies and employment legislation, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and capability processes
- Fostering a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes engagement, wellbeing, collaboration and our company values
- Conducting AML checks, compliance reviews and internal audits in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
- Identifying compliance risks, areas for improvement and opportunities to strengthen processes and controls
- Developing and implementing procedures that improve efficiency, consistency and compliance
- Delivering and supporting training on AML requirements, compliance procedures and internal policies
- Maintaining accurate records and monitoring training, feedback, issues and complaints to ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution
- Providing clear and practical compliance guidance to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders
- Keeping relevant management teams updated on workloads, performance, emerging issues and the progress of compliance activity

To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience of leading, coaching and motivating others within a busy, performance-focused environment. You should be comfortable setting expectations, monitoring performance, giving constructive feedback, and handling people matters fairly and professionally.
You’ll also need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and time-management skills, and the ability to interpret and apply procedures consistently. You should be confident identifying and resolving issues, making sound decisions and escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you’ll regularly provide guidance and updates to team members, managers, clients and other stakeholders. You’ll need to be approachable and supportive while remaining confident enough to challenge, influence and maintain high standards.
Previous AML, regulatory compliance, data analysis, or audit experience would be highly beneficial, as would knowledge of the UK property industry or experience of working with estate agents, although candidates who…
