We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established and growing metalwork business based in the Earls Colne area. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent pay, long-term stability, and the chance to work on high-quality bespoke metalwork projects.

Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 08:00
-17:00

The Role

Working within a skilled fabrication team, you will be responsible for the TIG welding and fabrication of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components. The work is varied and project-based, producing bespoke and architectural metalwork to a high standard. This will predominantly be working on balustrade, railings, staircases, fencing, general structural and architectural metalwork, for a sub-contract company.

This role would suit a time-served welder/fabricator who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

TIG welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
Fabrication from engineering drawings
Producing high-quality, bespoke metal components
Ensuring weld quality meets specification and finish standards
Working safely and efficiently within a busy fabrication workshop
Supporting team members to meet production deadlines

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator
Press brakes and Guillotines (not required but preferred)
Confident working from engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
Background in architectural or bespoke metalwork
