The Opportunity:

As a Process Technologist, you’ll play a key role in turning innovative product concepts into scalable, commercially successful realities.

Sitting at the heart of product delivery, you’ll ensure both new and existing products are manufactured safely, consistently and efficiently across our production network.

Working cross‑functionally with Innovation, Technical, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, you’ll help lead process optimisation from factory trial through to full commercial launch.

You’ll also play a key role supporting continuous improvement, troubleshooting production challenges and helping drive right‑first‑time manufacturing performance.

What your day might look like:
Product Development
  • Act as the technical link between Innovation and Manufacturing during NPD and EPD projects
  • Translate formulation and product briefs into scalable manufacturing processes
  • Assess process feasibility, identify risks and recommend process modifications
  • Lead and document production trials from pilot through to full commercial scale
  • Create and update SOPs, process parameters and equipment settings
Process Development & Optimisation
  • Analyse manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Support automation, machinery upgrades and technology integration projects
  • Develop and validate process controls, CCPs and quality parameters
  • Perform root‑cause analysis and implement CAPAs for process deviations
Technical Support & Problem Solving
  • Provide hands‑on support across mixing, blending, encapsulation, tabletting and sachet filling processes
  • Troubleshoot equipment, material flow and in‑process quality issues
  • Work with Supplier Technical teams on raw material behaviour and technical specifications
Documentation & Compliance
  • Produce manufacturing instructions, validation records and batch documentation
  • Support HACCP, GMP, BRC, ISO and FSMS compliance requirements
  • Support risk assessments, specification updates and change control processes
  • Maintain master data ownership and process documentation accuracy
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Innovation, Technical, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams
