Production Technician

Production Technician - Just Temps is supporting our client in their search for Production / Installation Technician, based in the Sudbury, Suffolk area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer.

We have over 40 years of experience supporting businesses with temporary and temp-to-perm roles. Over the last 12 months, we have placed over 200 candidates into permanent positions!

• £13.00 per hour circa £27,000 per annum
• 40 hours per week. 7am - 5pm Monday to Thursday
• Pension after a qualifying period

You will focus on precision, efficiency, and delivering an excellent customer experience from arrival through to handover. You will support and assist in the factory with the assembly and manufacture products.

• Cut, assemble and prepare products in line with technical drawings and specifications.
• Check finished products for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
• Prepare and safely load vehicles with products, tools and materials.
• Travel to customer sites and complete installations to company standards.
• Carry out testing, adjustments and customer handovers following installation.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Complete required paperwork, photos and installation documentation.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Assist with stock, equipment and general factory duties as required.

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Practical, hands-on skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently or as part of a team.
