About the Role
All Square Recruitment is excited to partner with a specialist manufacturing business based in Marks Tey, Colchester, to recruit dedicated Production Operatives to join their assembly team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on, detailed work to secure a temp-to-perm role with sociable weekday hours, with a permanent position available after 12 weeks. Furthermore, the role offers genuine long-term stability within a supportive production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble kits and component parts accurately in line with production specifications and work instructions.
* Assemble and prepare gaskets to a consistently high standard of quality.
* Carry out fine, dextrous assembly tasks that require precision and a steady hand.
* Inspect completed assemblies for defects, ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
* Work efficiently in order to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
* Collaborate with the wider production team to maintain a smooth, organised workflow.
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures, keeping the work area clean, safe, and tidy.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
* Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly work is highly desirable.
* Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small parts and components with care.
* Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and product quality.
* The ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
* Comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently.
* Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
