The Manufacturing Training Coordinator makes sure our factory team has the exact skills and instructions needed to build quality products safely and efficiently. Working closely with Manufacturing Leadership and the Technical Team, you will spot operational gaps, write clear step-by-step procedures (SOP’s), and train Manufacturing teammates to follow them. This is a hands-on role for a proactive communicator who enjoys helping people learn and making daily processes better.

This role is ideal for an ambitious, engaged individual ready to drive real change. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple teams, help deliver key projects, and play a vital role in our ongoing success.

• Spot operational gaps:
  Identify inefficient or inconsistent factory tasks and create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to fix them.
• Maintain/Improve quality standards:
  Write and update operational procedures so the plant consistently meets official industry standards (GMP / BRCGS).

• Lead training sessions:
  Plan, Create, organize, and run training sessions and briefings for Manufacturing Team mates using a mix of our Learning Management System (LMS) alongside Presentations and practical training methods.
• Coach teammates:
  Teach Manufacturing teammates how to execute SOPs correctly and safely using various methods to suit various learning styles, and test for competency to ensure understanding of training
• Bridge skill gaps:
  Spot where Team mates need extra training and liaise with Shift Team Leaders to assign time to provide refresher training.

• Maintain/Improve an up to date training matrix showing which team members are certified and signed off on specific tasks and machines.
• Log all completed training for every Manufacturing Team mate to ensure total compliance.
• Use our Learning Management System (LMS) to track completion rates, notice trends, and share progress reports with management on a weekly basis.

• Audit Support:
  Provide clear proof of training compliance to internal and external auditors.
• Suggest and source external training:
  Help research relevant outside training programs or certifications for Team mates growth.
• Align with company goals:
  Work with the Learning & Development team so Manufacturing training matches broader business goals.
• General support:
  Help the Assistant Manufacturing Manager with ad-hoc continuous improvement tasks / projects.

• Investigate Quality Issues:
  Review error reports (NCRs) to figure out if Manufacturing mistakes were caused by a gap in knowledge or unclear instructions.
• Deliver Corrective Training:
  Quickly create and run refresher training sessions to fix the root cause of Manufacturing errors and prevent them from happening again.
• Update Procedures:
  Work with the Technical team to rewrite standard operating procedures (SOPs) whenever an NCR shows that the current rules aren't working.

• Champion Workplace Safety:
  Ensure every factory teammate completes mandatory Health & Safety training, such as safe machine operation, proper lifting techniques, and correct use of safety protection/equipment (PPE).
