We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Registered General Nurses to join a highly regarded hospice in Colchester providing high-quality palliative and end-of-life care within the community and on the hospital ward.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about community care and wants flexible hours with excellent pay.

• Valid NMC PIN - RGN qualification essential
• Previous experience working as a nurse in the community
• Experience in palliative care / hospice / district nursing is highly desirable
• Must be a driver
• Excellent clinical skills, including symptom management, medication administration and holistic care planning
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up-to-date mandatory training and DBS (or willing to obtain)

• Delivering high standards of nursing care to patients in their own homes and in the hospice
• Supporting patients and their families with emotional, physical and practical needs
• Working closely with GPs, district nurses, and other community professionals
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
