Registered Anaesthetic Nurse - Band 5

Medics Pro are seeking experienced Anaesthetic Nurses
- Band 5/6 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work in Colchester. This long lines of work is to cover Monday
- Friday, day shifts, during the hours of 07.30am-18.00pm.

• Work alongside consultant anaesthetists and anaesthetic nurses to ensure patient safety and quality care during anaesthesia procedures
• Responsible for monitoring patients undergoing local anaesthetic procedures and ensuring their safety
• Carry out anaesthetic orders, refer any major problems back to the anaesthetist, and ensure patient comfort and administration of analgesia.
• Assess airway, breathing, and circulation until stable, ensuring appropriate intervention and evaluation.
• Administer analgesia, antiemetics as necessary & other comfort measures to ensure patient comfort.
• Ensure all paperwork is signed and upto date, including handovers and assessments.
• Provide a range of skills and expertise that contribute to the safe and effective delivery of anaesthesia.
• Ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care before, during, and after anaesthesia procedures.
