Salary: £12.25 – £13.25 per hour

Contract:

Permanent (18 hours weekly)
Shifts on a rota basis between 7 am and 6:30 pm

We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents.

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and keep preparation areas clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies, and follow mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

• Passion for food with previous kitchen experience

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

• Excellent service delivery and ability to make residents feel at home

• Strong communication skills and teamwork with kitchen and care home teams
