We are looking for a technically strong qualified ACA / ACCA to join our Colchester-based team as a Temporary Group Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant, you will be a key pillar in our year-end cycle (FY 31 December).

This is a high-impact, 3-month FTC (with potential for extension) where your core focus will be the production of high-quality statutory accounts across our diverse group entities, managing the audit process, and ensuring seamless tax compliance.

• Statutory Production: Preparing full statutory financial statements from Trial Balance through to final filing for various group entities.
• Audit Management: Acting as a lead point of contact for external auditors to ensure a smooth, efficient year-end process.
• Consolidations: Managing group consolidation mechanics, including intercompany eliminations and complex group reporting.
• Technical Oversight: Ensuring all reporting remains compliant with UK GAAP.

• The Credentials: Fully ACA / ACCA qualified with a robust technical background in group environments.
• Standards Expertise: In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) is essential for this role.

  Prior experience with Caseware (or similar statutory production software) is highly desirable to allow for a quick start.
• Excel Mastery: Advanced Excel skills are critical; you should be comfortable managing complex datasets and reconciliations.
