Field Technician

Join our team as a Sewer Technician in Water Recycling Services, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding the environment, public health and maintaining critical infrastructure. You will tackle issues in our network including blockages, odours, flooding and incidents, delivering exceptional service levels to our customers while adhering to environmental regulatory standards.

• Operate a single person, high‑pressure water jetting unit and CCTV equipment, identifying and promoting repair work for any problems found on our sewerage network.
• Investigate sewerage issues encountered by our customers, offering first‑time resolutions and responding to incidents.
• Complete planned maintenance work and collate accurately all feedback from site through our IT systems.
• Work predominantly lone working, engaging with both internal and external customers on a daily basis.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe environment throughout the role.
• Work within confined spaces and at height without restrictions, completing relevant occupational health checks including Hand‑arm Vibration (HAV).

• Basic IT skills and a full driving licence (a 4.5 tonne licence would be advantageous, training will be provided if needed).
• Willingness to work outside in all weathers; hands‑on/manual experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work autonomously, using your own initiative.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Maximum weight limit of 113 kilograms for harness weight restrictions.
