Service Coordinator – Futures Together Social Inclusion (North and Mid Essex)

30 hours per week – Maternity Cover contract.

If there's a possibility the person going on mat leave may be off for longer or come back part-time etc and the successful cover person will still be needed after the set maternity end date, I'd make a point to mention 'The role is a Maternity cover for an initial 12 months, with an ideal start date of 4th January 2027, with the possibility of extension.'

We are looking for an enthusiastic and community-focused Service Coordinator to support the social inclusion element of the Futures Together service across Mid and North Team.

Futures Together combines the expertise of Essex Phoenix Futures’ Criminal Justice and Social Inclusion services to provide meaningful support, opportunities, and positive outcomes for the people we work with.

About the Role

As Service Coordinator, you will:

  • Develop and deliver innovative social inclusion activities and groups.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers and peer mentors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local community organisations and partners.
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage with social inclusion opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Futures Together team to improve outcomes for those using the service.

  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • which includes a market supplement per annum, pro rata. With the opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal.
