Adhoc HGV Driver; Class 1 & Class 2

Position: Adhoc HGV Driver (Class 1 & Class 2)
Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking flexible and reliable Adhoc HGV Drivers who are qualified to drive both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible work covering a variety of assignments with different clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas.

Pay Rate:
£15.00 – £23.00 per hour (depending on vehicle type, shift, and client placement)

The Role:

* Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (Category

C) vehicles depending on client requirements

* Covering adhoc shifts, holiday cover, and busy periods for our clients

* Completing deliveries, trunking, or haulage work across various sectors

* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy

* Completing delivery paperwork and adhering to driver hours regulations

* Representing Driver Hire Colchester and our clients in a professional manner

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (Category

C) Licence

* Valid Driver CPC Qualification

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous HGV driving experience preferred

* Flexible and reliable with a professional attitude

* Good knowledge of UK driving laws and driver hours regulations
