HGV Class 2 Tipper

Driver Hire Colchester and Sudbury is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat

C) Tipper Driver to support our clients in the construction, aggregates, and waste sectors.

Requirements:

* Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

* Valid Class 2 (Cat

C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

* Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

* Experience with Tippers is essential

* Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

Job Details:

* Start times:
Typically between 05:00 and 07:00 AM.

* Shift length:
Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed pay per day).

* Pay rate: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

* PAYE - Accrue holiday or get paid it in your hourly rate.

* Ongoing and ad-hoc work available with local and regional clients.

Key Attributes:

* Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.

* Good understanding of driver hours and vehicle checks.

* Experience in the construction or aggregates sector is beneficial.

* Able to adapt to different sites and customer requirements
