Dispatcher for ADA Traffic Control, LTD
This position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating crews for scheduled jobs from Sunday to Saturday, coordinating crews for emergency calls when they occur, assisting coworkers and other dispatchers as necessary, performing geographical location spotting and map reading, providing detailed instructions to contractors and fieldworkers, supporting fieldworkers with any concerns, supporting contractors to the best of their ability, forwarding any new business inquiries to the Business Manager, and performing other duties as assigned.

- A basic concept of geography (able to read maps) and basic direction skills
- Effective communication skills over the telephone, email or in person
- Effective listening skills
- Problem identification and resolution abilities
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Record keeping accuracy
- Analytical problem‑solving skills
- Preparedness to produce written communications (e.g., responding to emails)
- Experience with a call center environment
- Ability to follow procedures and regulations
- Ability to remain calm in a stressful situation
- Fluent in English
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Incredible multitasking abilities

- Excellent customer service skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Location & HoursIn Office: 35 Clay Point Rd, Colchester, VT 05446.
Hours:
4am to 12pm (flexible if needed) Monday to Friday, weekends/overtime as needed.
