Responsibilities- Perform routine and non‑routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops.
- Manage decentralized and decontrolled items, ensuring effective supply support and economy.
- Plan quantitative and monetary requirements to satisfy customer needs.
- Authorize procurement and manage funds.
- Handle limited aspects of storage management and develop local procedures to maintain efficient storage operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Excepted service position requiring membership in a compatible National Guard assignment.
- Must register for Selective Service if male and born after 31 December 1959.
- Background investigation required.
- Probationary period may apply.
- Mandatory direct deposit participation.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within one year.
- Work may be required outside normal duty hours and may involve overtime.
- Uniform required for selected personnel.
- Primary focal point for property accountability to the United States Property and Fiscal Officer.
- Primary focal point for unit mobilization operations, including asset identification during mobilization and demobilization.
- Must meet all military training and requirements for compatible assignment.
- Travel may be required throughout the state or country during mobilization operations.
- Individuals convicted of domestic violence may not perform this position.
- Minimum GS‑07 qualifications: experience, education, or training in supply operations, including use of computer and automation systems.
- Specialized experience (minimum 12 months) required: comprehensive knowledge of supply regulations, procedures, and instructions; conducting extensive searches, reconstructing records for complex transactions; providing support for specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; performing routine supply work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures.
- Volunteer or part‑time experience may be credited.
