Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Evening call required during coverage periods
Setting: 20-bed inpatient rehab unit
Position Highlights
Role: Inpatient Physiatrist providing comprehensive rehab care
Responsibilities include:
Managing up to 20 patients daily in a dedicated rehabilitation unit
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, PT/OT, case management, unit-based hospitalist)
No surgical procedures
No mid-level supervision
Documenting in Epic EMR
Requirements
Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
Licensure/Certification s:
Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
BLS Required
Must be comfortable working independently
