Our client is a well-established industrial engineering and manufacturing organization, and they want you to join their team as a Senior Research & Design Engineer!

• Serve as the primary engineering analyst using FEA tools to perform CFD, stress/structural, frequency, and thermal analyses
• Produce reports summarizing simulations and provide design optimization recommendations
• Support creation of new hydraulic designs using in-house tools and author, check, and approve engineering documentation
• Execute engineering and mechanical design tasks, material selection, scheduling, code compliance, and progress reporting
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and promote improvements to design tools, processes, and methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize vendor and customer data, and provide technical oversight to sales, service, and manufacturing as needed

• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis
• Strong background in rotating mechanical equipment, including stress analysis, vibration, materials, and heat transfer
• Proficiency with FEA tools, CAD, engineering documentation, and report writing
