Overview
Community Health Pharmacy, a mail‑order pharmacy located in Colchester, VT, is currently accepting applications for Full‑Time, Certified Pharmacy Technicians. Hours of operation are Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:30 pm.
*** NO WEEKENDS*** This opportunity offers a great work environment, along with competitive wages and excellent benefits. The pharmacy is managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services in Amarillo, TX. The estimated compensation for this role is $25‑27 an hour depending on experience.
- Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
- Provide friendly and cooperative customer service.
- Enter patient data and prescription information accurately.
- Flexibility to travel to other two locations in VT based on business needs located in Lamoille and Burlington.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required.
- Must be able to operate various computer systems. Ability to work effectively with co‑workers as a team member.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Vermont Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
- PTCB National Certification required OR must obtain within 6 months of hire (Maxor will assist in obtaining PTCB).
- Willing to float between Community Health Pharmacy and Community Health Centers Pharmacy.
- At least 1+ years’ experience in retail pharmacy is required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
