Assistant Meat Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide fast, friendly service to all Price Chopper customers.
• Responsible for the operation of the meat department in the absence of the meat manager.
• Cut all meat in accordance with trim "specs" and guidelines and ensure the quality and freshness of product in the meat case to promote optimal sales opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service (both internally and externally) on an ongoing basis.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.

• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of related experience.

• Exposure to Cold Environment Constant 5-8 Hours
• Pivoting Constant 5-8 Hours
• Pushing/Pulling Constant 5-8 Hours up to 75lbs
• Squatting/Kneeling Occasional 1-3 Hours
• Lifting Frequent 3-5 Hours up to 50lbs
• Pushing/Pulling Occasional 1-3 Hours up to 2400lbs
