🔧 Service Technician – Great Fit for Oil Burner, HVAC, or Appliance Technicians (KC Mechanical – Colchester, VT)
Location:
Colchester, VT (local routes across Chittenden, Washington, and Lamoille Counties)
Employment Type:
Full-time Compensation: $30–$45/hr depending on experience + benefits
KC Mechanical is a locally owned Vermont company that’s been serving restaurants, schools, and facilities for nearly 30 years. We specialize in commercial kitchen appliance, refrigeration, and HVAC service and installation — keeping local businesses running smoothly year-round.
We’re a small, skilled team — not a big corporate chain — and we take pride in doing quality work while treating our people right.
Why This Is a Great FitIf you’ve built your career as a mechanic, oil burner tech, HVAC tech, plumber, refrigeration, or appliance technician, your skills are highly transferable here. Many of our best technicians came from those trades — they’re great with combustion, controls, and troubleshooting, and they love the variety and stability of our work.
As oil work and residential heating decline in Vermont, this is a great opportunity to pivot your trade skills into a steady, year-round field that’s growing. We’ll train you on commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems so you can build a career with long-term stability and local routes.
