KC Mechanical is seeking a skilled hot side technician to join our growing team. If you’ve worked on commercial ovens, stoves, fryers, steamers, and similar equipment—and want reliable, local work with a company that values your experience—we’d love to talk.

We’re a locally owned small business with nearly 30 years serving restaurants, schools, and facilities throughout Chittenden, Lamoille, Washington, Franklin, Orange, and Addison Counties. Our team is big enough to offer full support and benefits, but small enough to know each tech by name.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 1-3 years of experience with hot side kitchen equipment or related trades

• Confident with diagnostics, repairs, and clean installations

• Professional, organized, and great with communication

• Comfortable with service notes and basic tech tools (iPads, etc.)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Able to lift 60 lbs, push 100 lbs, and pull 50 lbs

Commercial kitchen experience is preferred—but we’ll train the right mechanically inclined candidate.

Position Details:

• Full-time W2 role
