As a Taper/Painter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished surfaces. Responsibilities may include:
- Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall
- Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting
- Applying primer, paint, and other finishes
- Performing touch-ups and finish work
- Identifying and correcting surface imperfections
- Misc. other construction tasks when needed
- Protecting adjacent surfaces and maintaining a clean work area
- Working safely and efficiently alongside other trades
- Maintaining a high standard of quality and craftsmanship
-Education - Experience
- Previous professional painting and/or drywall finishing experience preferred
- Knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, surface preparation, and painting techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and equipment
- Valid driver’s license to travel to various commercial construction project locations
- Salary Range: $26 - $36/hour -This position is eligible for additional compensation through our quarterly bonus program equivalent to $1 – $3 an hour in addition to wages worked in previous quarter.
