Job Summary

Delivery Driver (non‑CDL) on rural routes for the United States Postal Service. Work may be required on Saturdays, Sundays, and observed holidays. Hours vary. Training on weekdays during onboarding.

$20.38 per hour, paid bi‑weekly.

• Loads packages and mail into vehicle in delivery sequence.
• Delivers packages, mail, and parcels along prescribed routes.
• Sorts mail for assigned route.
• Receives and signs for accountable mail.
• Collects money and receipts for accountable mail.
• Furnishes routine information regarding postal matters to customers.
• Returns undeliverable mail and submits monetary compensation to the post office.
• Prepares appropriate time records.
• Secures mail at all times.

• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• At least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger vehicles in the U.S., U.S. territories, or U.S. military installations worldwide.
• Ability to drive during evenings/night and in all weather conditions.
• Possibility of providing a personal vehicle if not assigned one; eligible for Equipment Maintenance Allowance (EMA) when required.
• Physical strength to load and unload trays and containers of mail and parcels weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Acceptance of medical suitability, general eligibility, and background check requirements.
