Position: Humanities Educator High
Join Northern Lights Public Schools as a Humanities Educator in the beautiful Cold Lake region of Alberta. This part-time role emphasizes student well-being and community engagement.

Northern Lights Public Schools is inviting applications for a part-time (0.50 FTE) Humanities Teacher at Cold Lake High School for the  school year. This position entails delivering high-quality education to approximately 560 students in grades 10-12. You'll create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment while engaging actively with students, parents, and staff to enhance academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans that inspire and educate

• Maintain a positive classroom environment for all students

• Align classroom practices with the Alberta Curriculum

• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the school

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Previous teaching experience is an asset

• Ability to fulfill Alberta Teaching Quality Standards

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
