Part-Time Educational Assistant

Northern Lights Public Schools is on the lookout for a dedicated part-time Educational Assistant to support student programs, starting with the  school year. You will assist with social skills, behavior management, and self-help needs in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with educational and personal care needs

• Implement behavioral strategies in group and one-on-one settings

• Monitor and document student progress effectively

• Encourage self-help skills among students

• Collaborate with educational staff for inclusive strategies

Requirements:

• Post-secondary training as an Educational Assistant

• Experience with behavioral strategies and documentation

• Knowledge of alternate communication techniques

• Familiarity with Individual Program Plans

• Training with Autistic Spectrum Disorder is a plus
