Ministry Outcome:
Lead a healthy family and children’s ministry that supports parents in the discipleship of their kids ages 0-11 years old, and replicates ministry leaders that facilitate families to know and love Jesus more every year.
- Work with the lead and associate pastors to implement a discipleship process among families that includes weekly services, family small groups and events.
- Support parents to become godly parents that operate as the primary disciple rs of their children.
- Oversee the children’s ministry department, while building positive relationships with parents
- Recruit and train serve teams within the nursery, Pre-K and Kids Ministry.
- Work alongside other ministry leaders to support evangelism and outreach initiatives. This could include VBS, No School Friday events etc.
- Support new parents visiting families with newborns and connecting parents to other ministries and resources in the church.
- Provide parenting supports to families in our church and wider community.
- Collaborate with other groups that are adjacent to kids’ ministry including Merge Youth.

Salary Range
24,000 - 33,280
- Theological and biblical literacy in alignment with POAC Statement of Essential Truths
- Love for Jesus and the local church
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Confident and good communicator
- Ability to recruit, train and empower volunteers
- Enjoy working with children and parents
Diploma or Degree in Theology, pastoral studies or children's ministry would be an asset
Experience teaching and leading teams an asset
