Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a 1.0 FTE role at Cold Lake Elementary. Your main responsibilities include implementing daily operations, ensuring appropriate supervision, and creating smooth transitions in a caring atmosphere. This position involves working from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday, supporting children aged PreK to 3.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a quality program for children

• Uphold program philosophies, policies, and procedures

• Maintain confidentiality in all interactions and matters

• Supervise all children during activities and transitions

• Support Early Childhood Assistant with guidance

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Familiarity with NLPS philosophies and Alberta regulations

• Understanding of child development theories

• First Aid Certification required

• Level 2 or 3 Early Child Care Certificate preferred
