You will provide health and safety support to site leadership and contractors. Responsibilities include developing safety standards, reviewing project designs for compliance, and offering guidance during emergencies. The role also involves mentoring loss prevention professionals and promoting safety education across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and formalize safety standards into documented practices
• Review project designs for adherence to safety regulations
• Respond to emergencies with technical guidance
• Create and deliver safety education materials and presentations
• Mentor fellow loss prevention professionals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
• Experience in construction safety, especially in oil and gas
• Strong knowledge of security processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work independently in challenging environments
Be an integral part of the safety team, ensuring compliance and promoting health in Cold Lake.
