Operations First Line Supervisor

NES Fircroft is hiring an Operations First Line Supervisor for a 6-month contract in Cold Lake, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates experienced in oil and gas operations.

You will lead operations personnel while ensuring optimal performance of production facilities. The position requires a valid 1st Class Power Engineering Certification and a minimum of 10 years in oil and gas. Key responsibilities include mentoring staff, responding to emergencies, and driving process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operational oversight for safety and efficiency

• Train and supervise operations personnel and contractors

• Implement continuous improvements in operational procedures

• Resolve issues related to plant integrity and reliability

• Build collaborative relationships across diverse teams

Requirements:

• Valid 1st Class Power Engineering Certification

• 10+ years of experience in oil and gas operations

• Leadership experience in supervised environments

• Strong knowledge of operations safety practices

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
