Senior Municipal Enforcement Officer

Enhance public safety with the City of Cold Lake as a Senior Peace Officer. This role focuses on enforcing local bylaws and ensuring community protection through various responsibilities.

As a Senior Peace Officer reporting to the Municipal Enforcement Manager, your main responsibilities will include the enforcement of city bylaws and provincial statutes. You'll patrol city limits, address public complaints, and respond to animal rescue needs. This position demands a motivated individual who values integrity and confidentiality while serving the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure public awareness of City Bylaws and provincial statutes

• Enforce Municipal and Provincial Bylaws effectively

• Conduct patrols within City limits regularly

• Respond to animal enforcement requests and emergencies

• Issue warnings and violation tickets as needed

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice

• Community Peace Officer Level 1 Appointment required

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant law enforcement experience

• Radar and First Aid certifications necessary

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
