Community Peace Officer

Reporting to the Municipal Enforcement Manager, you will ensure compliance with city and provincial statutes while addressing community concerns. Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce Municipal and Provincial Bylaws diligently

• Patrol designated areas within city limits

• Issue warnings and violation tickets as necessary

• Handle written communications and court packages

• Address public complaints regarding bylaws

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in law enforcement or criminal justice

• Community Peace Officer Level 1 Appointment required

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Radar and Pepper Spray certification preferred
