Building Custodian at CLFN

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation as a Custodian for CLFN band buildings. Maintain a healthy environment for employees and community members while fulfilling daily duties.

As a Building Custodian under the CLFN, your main role is to keep the appointed band buildings clean and disinfected. You’ll be responsible for maintaining entrances, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing washrooms daily. The position requires reporting to the Band Building Coordinator, with both regular and seasonal tasks outlined to maintain a healthy space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain orderly entrances and waiting areas

• Disinfect touchpoints in public areas daily

• Clean and sanitize surfaces throughout the building

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed

• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety practices

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Ability to work self-motivated and independently

• Physical agility to handle cleaning tasks
