Overview

The Faith in Action - Homemaker will assist home health individuals receiving supportive services in the greater community with performing household activities to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. The Faith in Action - Homemaker completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with the individuals, their families, and/or their caregiver(s) and other health team members is an essential component of this position.

Responsibilities

• Performing light housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Planning and preparing meals.
• Participating in supportive activities to promote or maintain the

individual's independence in the home setting.

• Maintain household routines.
• Follow a designated work plan.
• Communicate significant changes in the status of the

individual and/or family.

• Maintain a record of activities as directed.
• Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
• Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Valid Driver's License
• Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements

Qualifications Preferred

• BLS Certification

Salary Range
